The packaging for family travel

Bring the glory! When packing for a family trip, less is truly more. As in the less stuff you're carrying around, the more freedom you will have.

To help you create your own "packing list" we have organized our proposals into four groups:

* Documents

* Basics Clothing

* "You have"

* Memory Manufacturers

First, ask yourself some questions:

Who goes? Traveling with infants and young children, resist the temptation of having everything under the sun. For older children, keep in mind that many common things can be shared. For example, girls may insist on having their hair at home but when traveling, one is enough.

What are your thoughts on taking? How many suitcases? What type – Russian purses or bags? Are children old enough to help or will be up to adults to carry everything (and boys) around? You may have to run for a departing plane / train / boat, so they have more luggage than you can bear.
Where are you going? This is the biggie: trekking through the jungle of Guatemala, for example, requires very different shoe play under way in London.

When are you going? Sailing through the Mediterranean in July is different from hiking in the Andes in July. December in Bali is warm and tropical, in Amsterdam in December is cold and snow. Check out the weather for your destination in advance.

Documents

Eagle Creek Undercover Passport / Money Case

We recommend these belts of money from personal experience – comfortable and not bulge at the waist.

But before thinking of one thing to wear, there is something more important that you see – your travel documents. Some things take longer to put together. This could be one of your checklists first.

Tours distract – So instead of worrying about pickpockets, consider a money belt or purse with zipper at the waist for your valuables. In South America and India, have used money belts for weeks, months at a time.

Basic Clothing

Believe us, you will be able to wash clothes. Do not pack something for every day of your trip and take the things that can serve dual purposes.

Travel Suit – This is the equipment you use when on long plane, train, car. The lots should be loose and comfortable, and have pockets of essentials and surprises. Note that the planes are usually cold.

Behind the scenes – Having enough underwear and socks so you can spin comfortably. Remember to mean different weight for different shoes or time.

Footwear – walking shoes, sandals, dress shoes must cover basic needs. Tip: Try all terrain sandals or water shoes if you'll be stomping around the rocky beaches or in rivers. Dressy Shoes should be comfortable, but not fragile or too expensive, anything can happen in a suitcase or on a cobblestone street. If you have laced shoes, bring extra laces.

Exploration teams – There's always an adventure worthy of walking or cycling to reach. In hot climates, you'll want shorts, tops and lightweight jackets (to block sudden chills). The hats are essential – wear brimmed hats for sun protection.

In cold weather, you want loose, comfortable, but well stocked with light clothing. Plan to layer clothing for warmth (for example, a shirt or turtleneck, long sleeve shirt, then jacket.) Tip: Polartec fleece is light, warm, and dry overnight if necessary rinse some "exploring" the dirt on the road.

Even if it is the rainy season – hooded jackets or ponchos train (thin plastic that folds into small, easy to pack bag) works well in the unexpected rains.Even in the tropics, if you go to the highlands, temperatures can cool dramatically, a light jacket is good for humid, hazy.

Elegant evening dress – You have provided a real rough-and-fall adventure travel and do not think you'll need? After a week of camping and hiking in the Canadian Rockies, an elegant dinner in a resort is a wonderful change. A play in London or haute cuisine in Buenos Aires worth dressing for, and may very well be among your best memories. Tip: Think of the simplicity and good quality, and I fit in anywhere.

Arts of water – almost all holidays include water in some way: swimming pool, sea, lake, river, hot springs or water park. Make sure everyone has good bathing suits, sandals of all land, water shoes, or rubber flip flos, water wings if needed.

Make Room For "must have"

Progress during the day – Few things are as useful as a sort of backpack or fanny pack that allows you to carry money, sunglasses, lip balm, a guide book, water bottle, food, coats, etc., leaving your hands free. Get one for each family member and disseminate the good in everything so that nobody feels like a pack animal.

Toiletries – Obtain waterproof bags (no leaks) for each person a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body lotion. The bags should be big enough for personal use must-haves, like lip gloss or hair gel, but small enough to pack easily. Tip: At present there are rules for hand baggage – cylinders must be 3 ounces or less in a transparent bag.

Emergency Kit – Do not lose time because of small emergencies. Enjoy over a mini sewing kit, a good all-purpose folding tools (eg Swiss army knife), a conversion plug any electrical appliance that is taking over (110 / 220) and small flashlights. Flashlights are great for children to have at night in strange hotels, and useful to explore the dark places unexpectedly.

Medical-Take everything clearly in their original containers (to avoid problems at customs). Take a small bag of antibiotics, aspirin, anti-itch, anti-fungal, bandages, thermometer, and tweezers. Yes, you can get these things abroad, but do not want to be looking for a strange place at 2:00 am?

Pass Times – You know better what to take: playing cards, iPods and CD players, books, Legos – what you and your children as they can be stowed in a handbag. Buy a brand new toy a few small and cheap as surprises for long plane trips (especially important with young children but all ages love this.) Getting trapped in a seat can be less frustrating with the distraction of a new toy. Remember, it's the newness that counts here – best cheap new five toys in one or two things more expensive. Stuffed animals are also excellent companions.

Packing for babies and toddlers – Imagine going for a long weekend at a friend's house without children and pack your diaper bag accordingly. You can buy all their favorite usual (glasses coaches, bottles, formula, diapers, wipes, etc) at local pharmacies or grocery stores, but want to have a good shot three days before the shutdown.

Tip: For younger children, a package of a few instant hot cereal, instant rice, and sometimes just add water packets. They will be useful in restaurants where nothing on the menu resources for your child.

Memory Makers

You'll want to remember this trip and share with others.

Camera – A digital camera is a great way to share pictures online, and also to have a lot of things for their scrapbooks when you return. In addition, a disposable camera or a waterproof camera is fun for children.

Magazines

Travel Notebook – Writing in journals is a good pass time on trains, boats, planes, memories of the night in hotels – and bring life in the coming years.(Bring pencils and sharpeners too.)

Sketchbooks – Even if you think your children can not draw, pack pads and crayons. There are 101 ways for children to use art, not always as expected: scrapbook, hang the man, pressing, etc.

Address Book – Encourage children to write the full names and addresses of friends. Postcards are fun to send and all children love to receive email. Do not forget teachers, relatives, neighbors. Also, bring a list of email addresses. On their journey, stop at an Internet cafe to send express mail to family and friends.
