Surely Pool This Can’t Be Legal?!?
Ok, so my school has an our door swimming pool. The thing is it’s SO cold. I’ve never once seen a thermometer in it, or if it’s in one of the filters, it being checked. The pool is really cold, i mean really cold. Last year it made a couple of people physically sick, and several had their lips and half their faces turn blue while in the water, and my whole body goes numb in it after like 5 mins, i mean, the rain feels warm when you’re in it!
Surely this must be a breach of health and safety regulations, if not against the law?!
Also, any tips on how i could stay warmer while in it would be great. Bear in mind we can not freely move about in it, as we are told when to move, treading water doesn’t work while i’m at the side, my legs just go numb.

Public pools are not required to be heated if closed or use is strictly voluntary. If you are required to swim, there might be a local standard.
